The first edition of the Workshop Rethinking Clusters was held at the University of Florence, Italy in 2018, in honor of Professor Giacomo Becattini a pioneer economist and a leading scholar in the industrial district literature.

The second edition of the Workshop Rethinking Clusters was held at the University of Padua, Italy in 2019.

The third edition of the Workshop RC was held at the University of Valencia and Polytechnic University of Valencia, Spain in 2020.

The fourth edition of the Workshop RC was held at the University of Florence, Italy in 2021.

The fifth edition of the Workshop RC was held at the Osaka Metropolitan University, Japan in 2022.
